Map of Hunza area

This time, I publish the map of the Hunza area. The names of some places from Gilgit to Passu were changed into a large character, and put on the map again.
Gilgit is low left on the map,while Passu is seen in the upper right . We got to Gilgit airport by the propeller plane、and then we ran on the Karakorum highway by car towards Passu.

The map is an old map of the Hunza area was pasted on the wall of Marco Polo restaurant.
The word RUSSIA is written on the map. I think that this name was recorded before the country became The Soviet Union．
× point on the border shows the pass. The second × under the specification China is Kunjarabu pass. The Karakorum Highway seems to have been filled in later.

The vicinity of Passu has been expanded.
We can find the character of ‘PHASSU’ ,in the Hunza area.
That is located on the brown part of the map not far from the yellow one.
There are BATURA GLACIER and BORITH LAKE by PHASSU. The photograph below is BORITH LAKE.
